Hello there, I have been coming to Jazzercise since 2002, I have always struggled with my weight but got bored easily with other forms of exercise but Jazzercise has been the way for me to enjoy exercise, lose weight and more importantly try to maintain weight. I say try because it is always something I have to work at but Jazzercise is an important key factor for me being successful. So after 7 years I took the plunge and got certified as an instructor. So when I am not teaching Jazzercise classes I spend time with my family, husband of 12 years James and two great kids Jackson and Katelyn. We also have two dogs Ozzie, a standard poodle and Max, a Jack-Russell/Rat Terrier mix. I am a Colorado native that has lived in Kansas and Nebraska but love Colorado and the weather is perfect for being outside most of the time. I also love traveling to coastal beach locations for vacation. I work at Kaiser Permanente 4 days a week. All this keeps me very busy but Jazzercise is something I do that helps keep me going, mentally and physically! |
Natalie Kain
Hi, my name is Natalie Kain and I have been Jazzercising since 1981, in Indiana, Colorado, Iowa and Florida. My love for music and choreography inspired me to become a Jazzercise instructor in April 2000. I believe that Jazzercise is truly the best fitness program in the world, blending cardiovascular fitness and endurance with strength training and stretching, all in just one hour. My husband, Dale, who works for PCL Construction, and I have been married for over 23 years. We have lived in Aurora, Orlando and Parker. Our oldest son, Jason, is a student at Colorado State University and Ryan, the youngest, is a student at Chaparral High School and plans to attend CSU in the fall of 2009. As a dental hygienist, I work 2 days a week at my dental office in the Tech Center. My special interests include cardiovascular health and nutrition. I look forward to Jazzercising with you at the Aurora Jazzercise Center and helping you achieve your fitness goals. |

"I have lived in Colorado for almost three years now and absolutely love it out here. I am originally from Ohio and after a short stint in St. Louis for grad school I made Denver my home. I started Jazzercising when I move to Colorado, and became an instructor in October of 2008. I love teaching jazzercise, it is a great release from my "day job" of being an architect! When I'm not jazzercising or architecting I love enjoying all the Colorado has to offer. I ski in the winter every chance I can get and in the summer you can find me exploring the mountains on foot! I also am a huge Ohio State Buckeyes fan! You can catch me in the fall cheering on my buckeyes! I also make candy buckeyes (chocolate and peanut butter) I find they are a great treat after a Jazzercise class!" |

Hi! My family and I moved down to CO July 2009 for my husband to attend medical school here. We have two wonderful kids who were both born in AK and both my husband and I grew up and loved it there, but we are excited for an adventure somewhere new. My mother-in-law invited me to Jazzercise in 2004 after I had my first child and needed to lose A LOT of pregnancy weight. The experience of enjoying myself while losing weight got me instantly hooked. While pregnant with my second child in 2006 another bought of bedrest, and a husband who is an awesome cook, left me in worse shape than I had been 5 years previous! After losing about 100+ lbs between the two pregnancies, and with a bit of coaxing from our center owner, I became an instructor April 2008. I really hope that my efforts here will be a blessing to other's the way my instructor's were to me and look forward to getting to know you all! |
Stephanie Hart
Hey Jazzercisers! I’m Stephanie, I’ve been Jazzercising since I was 16 years old, and I’ve been a certified instructor since August of 2007. I think Jazzercise is GREAT because you can get a challenging workout and time flies by! Sometimes I wish class could last longer! I like class to feel like a night out where you can bust a move like no one is watching. I like using upbeat music like Dance, Electro, pop and Hip-hop, and moves that are not only challenging your cardiovascular system, but also use muscle control to build long lean muscles… ooh la la! I hope to see you in class so we can dance the day away. |

Hey everybody, I'm Linda. I didn't find jazzercise until quite recently (October of 2008 was when I took my first class), but when I did find it I knew instantly it was the right workout for me. I loved it from the start, and it wasn't long before I was working hard to become a certified instructor so I could share my passion for jazzercise with everyone around me. I obtained my certification at the end of March 2009, taught my first classes in May and haven't stopped since. I am constantly striving to improve my performance and work diligently to make each class I teach fun and effective. When I am not jazzercising I live with my husband of 20 years Keith, our daughter Kate, our chocolate lab Cooper and our two cats Ginger and Buddy in Southeast Aurora. We all love bicycling or walking around the nearby reservoir, weightlifting, playing ball with Cooper and traveling when we can. I am always open to comments and suggestions from those who attend my classes and would love any feedback that would help me to become the best jazzercise instructor that I can possibly be. So come on up and say hi when you see me. I look forward to meeting you. |

Hi, I'm Shauna Shaw. I've been certified since June 2004 and have been doing Jazzercise since 2002. I have the best job ever because I get to help others set fitness goals and watch them work towards success! I understand how life just happens and a few pounds later you take a look in the mirror and have a hard time figuring out who that person is staring back. I am passionate about people and love watching them get excited about fitness and being healthy. I can't wait to hang out with you! |
