Deb Elliott
Hey there! I have been involved with Jazzercise for 11 years and an instructor since April 2000. I am extremely passionate about Jazzercise and the benefit that it offers to a person's mind, body and soul. I am a 34 year old mother of two girls, ages 6 and 2. My girls are my life. I have been married to the same wonderful man, Michael since 1998 and we love to ride our Harley together and hang out with our family and our dog Yoshi. I have an AAS in Accounting and worked in the financial industry for many years before having a change of heart and deciding to go into healthcare. When I am not teaching Jazzercise, I work at SkyRidge Hospital in Labor and Delivery as a Multi-Skilled Tech and am currently in Nursing to get my RN. Personally, I love mafia/ganster movies, bikers, some good rock and roll, anything that scares the crap outta me and Big Hunk candy bars. |
Wendy Somers
I have been teaching Jazzercise since October 2004. In my "spare" time I teach high school math, assist with the drama productions at my school, and follow my favorite band "The Nacho Men" everywhere they perform. I have more green things than anyone you will ever meet. I even celebrate my birthday on St.Patricks Day ! |
Meaghan O'Brien
I have been boogying my way to better health with Jazzercise since 1996. One and a half years ago I caught the instructor bug and became a Jazzercise instructor. When I'm not at Jazzercise grooving with the many friends I've met at the Aurora Center, I am teaching for Denver Public Schools. I am a humanities coach and a Reading Recover specialist. I am also the program director for a non-profit organization called Butterfly Hope. During my very limited free time I love walking my two dogs and cooking for friends and family. Sometimes my dogs get to sample the cooking as well! |

Liz O'Neil
Hi! My name is Liz and I certified as an instructor in January 2005. Two years prior, I was "persuaded" by my sister-in-law to try a Jazzercise class while visiting family in New York. I loved it! Not only was it physically invigorating, but the music rocked and the choreography was fun! I was hooked! Born and raised in New York, I earned a BA in Psychology from State University of NY at Oswego. I have been married for nine years and have two beautiful daughters, 6 and 4. |
Kim Todd
My name is Kim Todd. I am originally from Louisiana and moved out to Colorado 6 1/2 years ago. How lucky am I to live in such a beautiful state?? I NEVER want to leave...I have two beautiful children - Jackson and Audrey and a wonderful husband of 9 years - Chris. I am a Alumni of Park University (Kansas City, Missouri), which is where I received a Bachelor of Science in Human Resources. I worked in the corporate world for more than 6 years and decided to take a break when my children were born. As of now, I work as a contract employee in the mortgage sector and also have my own invitation/paper business. I certified as a Jazzercise instructor in February 2006 and have been loving it ever since. If I could give any advice to those who have ever thought of becoming a Jazzercise instructor - it is: "DO IT!!!! YOU WON'T REGRET IT..." Hope to see ya'll in my classes! |
Katie Roadcap
My name is Katie and I became a certified instructor in April 2007!!! I only started going to Jazzercise in 2004 but quickly fell in love with the music and the way it made me feel. My very first instructor tried to talk me into going to workshop and it only took three years to convince me. I was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska and moved to Colorado in 2003 after taking an extended leave of absence from New York University. I have been married for 3 years and am currently a full time student at the University of Denver pursuing a BA in Theatre and a MBA in Not-for-Profit Management. In my other life I am a theatre professional working in multiple theatres in and around Denver, including Curious Theatre Company and the Mizel Center for the Arts and Culture. |
